Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the RunUntil mobile app and related services (the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use RunUntil. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you are able to enter into a binding agreement.

RunUntil is a fitness app that lets you track walks, runs, and bike rides while completing real-world photo missions. The Service records your route, suggests photo targets, and uses artificial intelligence to validate the photos you capture. Features and content may change over time, and we may add, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service.

RunUntil offers premium features through paid subscriptions. Subscriptions are sold and processed through the app store from which you obtained the app (Apple App Store or Google Play) and managed on our behalf by our subscription provider, RevenueCat.

• Subscriptions may be offered on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis, and may include a free trial period.
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled, and your payment method will be charged at the start of each renewal period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your app-store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Deleting your data or uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through the app store to stop future charges.

From time to time we may offer promotions, limited-time offers, or rewards — such as a grant of free premium activities in exchange for reviewing the app. Promotions and rewards are provided at our discretion, may have additional conditions, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. They have no cash value.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.

You retain ownership of the photos and activity data you create with the Service. This content is stored on your device, and you are responsible for it. Because the content is stored locally and is not backed up to our servers, we are not responsible for its loss, including loss caused by deleting activities, deleting your data, uninstalling the app, or changing devices.

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• trespass on private property or enter restricted or unsafe areas to capture photos;
• photograph people without their consent or in violation of their privacy or other rights;
• interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service; or
• attempt to manipulate, falsify, or circumvent activity tracking or photo validation.

Physical activity involves inherent risks. You are solely responsible for your safety and the safety of those around you while using the Service. Always stay aware of your surroundings, obey traffic and local laws, and do not interact with your device while crossing roads or in situations that require your full attention.

Consult a physician before beginning any exercise program. By using the Service, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with your activities, and you agree that RunUntil is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that results.

Photo validation and target suggestions are generated by automated, AI-based systems. These systems are not perfect and may produce inaccurate or unexpected results. Validation outcomes are provided on a best-effort basis and should not be relied upon as authoritative.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that location, distance, or other measurements will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RunUntil and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the liability.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
